7.1 MANUAL CLEANING PROCEDURE
CAUTION
THE FLUID PASSAGES OF THE GUN, MUST BE CLEANED THOROUGHLY
AFTER EACH USE, ESPECIALLY AFTER USE WITH BI-COMPONENT PAINTS.
INCOMPLETE CLEANING CAN CAUSE DEFECTIVE PATTERN SHAPE.
NEVER SOAK AIR CAP SET (1) IN CLEANER FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD, EVEN WHEN CLEANING.
NEVER USE METAL BRUSH TO CLEAN THE GUN.
1 RELEASE AIR AND FLUID PRESSURE.
REMOVE AIR CAP SET, PAINT HOSE OR SUCTION CONTAINER FROM GUN, CLEAN FLUID
2
PASSAGES, THEN CLEAN EACH SECTION WITH BRUSH SOAKED WITH CLEANER AND
WIPE OUT WITH WASTE CLOTH.
SUCTION CONTAINER: AFTER DISASSEMBLING FROM SPRAY GUN, OPEN IT AND DRAIN
3
REMAINING PAINT INTO SUITABLE CONTAINER. CLEAN EACH PART WITH COMPATIBLE
CLEANER, DRY ALL PARTS WITH WASTE CLOTH AND STORE IT FOR THE NEXT USE.
4 DRY ALL PARTS COMPLETELY AND APPLY A SPECIFIC LUBRICANT TO EACH THREAD.
7.2 DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY PROCEDURE
FLUID NOZZLE SET (2): unscrew and remove air cap set (1)
A
then disassemble fluid nozzle (2), while keeping fluid needle
(2-1) pulled (triggering) in order to protect its seat section. Use
the enclosed ring spanner to disassemble the fluid nozzle. (size
Hex.19 mm).
B
FLUID NEEDLE (2-1) _ DISASSEMBLE FLUID NEEDLE ONLY WHEN STRICTLY
NECESSARY. To disassemble fluid needle, remove fluid adjustment knob (10) fluid needle
spring (9) and fluid needle set (2-1), extracting the spring and fluid needle set, from the
back of fluid adj. guide set (8) still assembled on the gun body. IMPORTANT! During the
adjustment of fluid needle, pay attention to don't fully loosen the fluid adjustment knob
(10), cause it could be fly out suddenly since it is strongly pushed by the needle spring (9).
When you assemble the needle spring (9) on the
fluid needle (2-1), the plastic tip should be on the
opposite side as the fluid needle tip. If plastic tip
is on the wrong side, it may not operate correctly.
Incorrect installation of the needle spring (9) may
cause a heavy trigger pull.
C
FLUID NEEDLE PACKING SET (3): To disassemble fluid needle packing
set (3), first unscrew the hexagon side of it by enclosed spanner (hex.10
mm) then loosen the packing by hand and remove it from gun body.
IMPORTANT! If you replace fluid needle packing set, be sure to adjust
it carefully while pulling trigger and confirming movement of fluid
needle.
D
The FLUID NEEDLE PACKING SET (3): must always be adjust-
ed while fluid needle set (2-1) is inserted and in the following
way: tighten it by hand and then (about a 60 degree turn) with
spanner. When you remove needle packing set (3), do not leave
plastic piece of needle packing set (3) in the gun body.
• If you tighten fluid needle packing set (3) too much, fluid needle set (2-1) will not move
smoothly, resulting in paint leakage from tip of fluid nozzle (2). Try to adjust it carefully while
pulling trigger and confirming movement of fluid needle set (2-1). If you tighten it too much,
repeat operation.
E
AIR VALVE SET (6): To disassemble air valve set (6), first unscrew the fluid adj. guide set
(8) by using enclosed universal spanner then remove air valve spring (7) and air valve (6).
