INSTALLATION
The diagrams included in the ANNEX show how to carry out the standard
assembly and connections.
Do not connect the supply between the different modules of the unit while
the supply is connected to the mains.
3.1
Unit supply
To supply the unit, it is necessary to connect every module to the SP-226
(cod. 9120130) support framework, which performs the mass
connection.
3.2
Audio and video input connection
The miniDIN connector located on the front of the modulator incorporates
audio/video inputs. To connect the audio and video source, you can use
cable CD-011 (code 9120079) Mono or CD-113 (cod. 9120094)
Stereo, with RCA connection to miniDIN.
3.3 Placing 75 Ω charges
Except for the PA amplifier test, make sure that all the remaining unused
inputs and outputs are charged with an RS-275 (code 9120011) charge
of 75 Ω.
3.4
Output channels
The vestigial sideband modulator BLV permits using adjacent channels.
RF output channels that are adjacent to each other or adjacent to the earth
TV channels from legal re-emitters (both lower and higher channels) can
be programmed.
If the installation includes external units that use double sideband
modulators, the channels immediately below the ones used by those units
must be free.
