11 System Upgrade
11.1 System Upgrade Preparation
• Download Upgrade Programs
You can download the software upgrade package on the website, and then use the upgrade
package to update the Tablet system version.
• System Upgrade Preparation:
1.
Download the system update package on the appropriate website to your computer.
2.
Get ready for the system upgrade tools: one TF card, with the capacity no bigger than
8G.
11.2 Restore Factory Settings
When your Tablet has serious errors or the unlock password has been forgotten, etc., you
can use Restore Factory Settings to have it come back to the factory state. If the factory
settings are used, all downloaded applications will be deleted, and the user settings and all
data will be lost, so do remember to back up your data.
1.
In the Home interface, press the Menu button to pop up the menu for settings.
2.
Click Settings.
3.
Click Privacy.
4.
Click Restore Factory Settings.
5.
Click Reset Device.
6.
Just wait until the system restarts.

11.3 System Upgrade
Note: Before upgrade, make sure to keep your Tablet energy more than 30% of the total
for smooth upgrade. In addition, you need to back up your important information, such as:
applications and e-mails.
• System Upgrade Steps:
1.
Copy the necessary system upgrade files to the root directory of the TF card or to the
file package called as update.zip in the NAND storage. Note: The files must have the
above names.
2.
Select Settings.
3.
Click About the Equipment.
4.
Click Install System Update.
5.
Select From SD Card.
6.
It will pop up an update confirmation window, click Install Now.
7.
The system will automatically reboot into the upgrade mode, and pop up the upgrade
progress bar.
8.
After the system upgrade is complete, just press the Reset button to restart.
