Taking a measurement
• Sit patient down, position unit on the table in front of you and plug in the correct
sized cuff on the side of the unit.

• Fit the cuff on the arm so that the tube is facing downwards in the bend of the
elbow. Gently close the cuff.

Select the measuring mode (MAM or single).
In MAM mode, the blood pressure will be taken three times consecutively at inter-
vals of 15 seconds and an intelligent average will be shown.
NL • Press the «START» button (if at anytime you need to discontinue a reading, sim-
ply press the «O/I» button).
• After the measurement is completed, the systolic and diastolic blood pressures
and the pulse rate appear in the display.

• By pressing the «Time/MAP» button, it is possible to display the MAP: Mean
Arterial Pressure.
• The measurement readings remain on the display until you switch off the
instrument. If no button is pressed for a period of 5 minutes the instrument
switches itself off in order to preserve the batteries.

• To get the latest measurements, press on the «M» button.
