DGUV regulation 3:
according to DGUV regulation 3 (BGV A3), the BBF6 is classed as a moveable appliance and
hence must be tested after maintenance, changes to the machine and yearly according to VDE
0701-0702.

Description of the inspection and servicing work
Clean pressurised air connection with service unit (11)
Open the drain plug at the bottom end of the sight glass of the service unit (11) and
drain all the water collected in the sight glass. Then close the plug again by hand.
Verify the scales every 2 years
The BBF6 scales must be verified every 2 years by the responsible Board of Weights and
Measures. Contact the responsible Board of Weights and Measures and they will verify the scales
and attach a new verification seal.
