Taking into service
8.3.1
Start-up after a scheduled shut-down
Before any start-up or after longer periods of decommissioning of the machine, the following
procedure must be followed:

Check general condition.
-
Ensure all safety equipment is operational.
-
Ensure all safety devices are correctly fitted.
-
Ensure that the necessary servicing (see Maintenance) has been carried out.
Before you can take the BBF6 into operation, you will require the following:
-
Safety socket 230 V AC 50 Hz fused 16 A
-
Pressurised air 6 bar
For commissioning, follow this procedure:
-
Connect the pressurised air supply (compressor) with 6 bar to the pressurised air connection of
the service unit (11). Adjust the pressure regulator of the service unit (11) to 5 bar.

Connect the external pump with a hose to the inflow tap (3) using an NW 25 screwed
connection.
-
Connect the level switch (8) to the external pump using a signal cable.
-
Plug in the mains plug into the 230 V AC 50 Hz socket.
-
Insert the temperature display (9) in the device provided.
-
Switch the BBF6 on using the main switch (15).
-
Open the inflow tap (3) and the outflow tap (4).
-
Wait until the display of the scales (16) shows FILL 2.
-
Press the button -0- (22), the scales is set to 0.00 kg.
-
Press the button Arrow left
-
The display of the scales (16) shows Start.
-
Switch the selector Function (19) to Auto.
-
Production can commence if there is sufficient juice in the buffer tank (1).
