• The power supply must comply with the specifications displayed on the product. Refer to the instructions of your local
energy supplier if necessary for connecting conditions. If the pump or the power cable do not comply, do not connect the
pump!
• The pump is designed to be permanently wired to the mains supply in a dry wheatherproof enclosure through Double-Pole
Switched Fused Spur (disconnector) to BS3676, with a minimum contact separation of 3 mm in each pole, fitted with a 3
or 5 Amp fuse.
• Never carry the pump by the cable and never pull the pump by the cable out of the pond.
• Never remove the plug and never shorten the cable. If you do, you will invalidate your guarantee.
• Keep the connection (plug and socket) dry.
• The pump is not suitable for use in swimming pools and swimming ponds or other situations where persons could come
into physical contact with the water, and must therefore not be used for this purpose.
• Always disconnect the pump from the power supply when cleaning it or carrying out maintenance to the pond.
• This pump is suitable for pumping water with a minimum temperature of 4°C and a maximum temperature of 35°C.
• The electricity cable cannot be replaced. If the cable becomes damaged, you must destroy the pump.
• The pump must not run dry, as this will cause irreparable damage.
Maintenance and cleaning
• The pump does not require any greasing or special maintenance. All you need to do is check the inlet slits of the filter
chamber from time to time to ensure they are not clogged with dirt, rinsing them with clean water.
• If the pump is very soiled, you will need to dismantle it:
- Remove the junction piece, telescopic tube and sprinkler head.
- Unscrew the bolt at the side of the outlet and remove it
- Press in the wide click catch at the back and remove the upper part of the housing from the bottom part.
- You can now clean the outer housing
- Then remove the pump chamber of the motor (bayonet connection) and carefully remove the ceramic drive shaft. This
can now be cleaned
- After cleaning, reassemble the pump in reverse order.
• The frequency of this maintenance will vary according to the situation in which the pump is being used, and will depend on
how dirty your pond is.
• Prevent the pump from freezing up in winter, so make sure that you remove it from the pond and store it in a frost-free
place, preferably in a bucket of water.

• This guarantee covers material and production defects. The parts susceptible to wear and tear, such as the rotor and drive
