11.2.1 Flushing the pump

Before switching off, flush the pump with air at atmo-
spheric conditions (ambient pressure) for about 5 minutes
(if necessary for safety reasons: with an inert gas).

11.2.2 Cleaning the pump

Only clean the pump with a damp cloth and non-
flammable cleaning agents.

If compressed air is present, blow out the parts.
11.3 Replace diaphragm, valve plates/seals and
O-rings

Pump switched off and power cable pulled out of socket

Pump cleaned and free of hazardous materials

Hoses removed from pneumatic pump inlet and outlet
