9 Set up, installation and connection
Only connect the pumps in accordance with the operating pa-
rameters and conditions described in Chapter 6 Technical
data.
Observe the safety notices (see Chapter 5 Safety).

Before connecting, store the pump at the installation loca-
tion to allow it to reach the room temperature (no conden-
sation may form).
WARNING

Make sure that the installation location is dry and that the
pump is protected against rain, splash, gushing, and drip
water as well as from other contaminants.

Select a secure location (flat surface) for the pump.
à
Protect the pump from dust.
à
Protect the pump from vibration, impact and external dam-
age.
9.1 Connecting the pump
1. Remove the protective caps from the pneumatic connec-
tions of the pump.
Vacuum operation with silencer
1. Remove the hose connector on the pressure side with the
supplied tool (see 1 Scope of delivery).
2. Screw the silencer or your system component to the pres-
sure side hand tight.
3. Connect the suction line.
