Before assembly:
1. Unpack the device carefully and check the status of the device. The device
must be intact. If the device is damaged, stop the installation and contact FTK
as soon as possible.
2. Check the visual assembly instructions to ensure that all hardware required for
the assembly has been delivered. Filters are placed in the kitchen hood.
3. Do not mount the extractor hood if damaged. This action invalidates the
product warranty.
SUPPORT NOTES FOR VISUAL ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
This manual refers to the instructions for mounting FTK wall hoods that complement the
illustrated manual for easy installation. Installation and explanations are described below:
1.
Mark the position of the holders according to specified measurements. Using the
supplied plugs and screws, screw the bracket or fasteners to the wall, depending
on the hood model. In this step, make sure that the hood is level, if the model
requires it.
1.1. Observe the minimum and maximum installation distances on the cooking
surface. We recommend installing the extractor hood at the minimum
recommended height to ensure best performance.
1.2. Place an accessible electrical plug near the extractor hood for connection
during assembly. Verify that the plug remains easily accessible once the device
is mounted for easy intervention.

If the hood has adjustable holders, you must access them; to do this, follow the
steps below. Opening the hood door, remove the filter by first pulling its release
tab, tilting it below. Then remove the protective grill by removing its screws.

Depending on the hood model, the adjustable holders allow you to slightly vary
their height to correct the position of the hood. To do this, proceed as indicated
in the illustrations.

Attach the cover tube holder to the desired position, using the included screws
as indicated. Then place the cover tube over the hood body.
4.1. Make the necessary connections for air evacuation.
4.2. When connected to a short exhaust duct, it would be desirable to place a check
valve in the duct to prevent wind from entering.
5.
Attach the cover tube to the body of the shape hood and with the screws shown
in the illustrations. Finally, screw as directed, the sliding segment of the cover tube
to the piece fixed to the wall.
