Safety Notes

• This car is to be used only with an operating system
designed for it (Märklin AC, Märklin Delta,
Märklin Digital or Märklin Systems).
• Use only switched mode power supply units and trans-
formers that are designed for your local power system.
• This car must never be supplied with power from more
than one transformer.
• Pay close attention to the safety notes in the
instructions for your operating system.
• Do not expose the model to direct sunlight, extreme
changes in temperature, or high humidity.
• WARNING! Sharp edges and points required for operation.
• The LEDs in this item correspond to Laser Class 1 accord-
ing to Standard EN 60825-1.

Important Notes

• This car has a pickup shoe for picking up current and
non-current-conducting couplers, item number 7203. The
7203 couplers can be replaced by 72020 current-conduc-
ting couplers for receiving current from other cars. To do
this only the coupler head must be changed. The contact
spring is already installed in the coupler pocket.
• Only the pickup shoe on the 43992 car may be used when
the car is part of a train consist with current-conducting
couplers or couplings. All other pickup shoes in the train
consist must be removed.
• The 7203 coupler must be used at the end and beginning
of a train consist with. Danger of short circuit!

• The operating instructions and the packaging are a com-
ponent part of the product and must therefore be kept as
well as transferred along with the product to others.
• Please see your authorized Märklin dealer for repairs or
spare parts.
• The warranty card included with this product specifies
the warranty conditions.
