1.3 Preliminary actions prior to start-up
■ Wheat break roll side
❏ Check that the front and back sight-holes of the grinder are in
their proper place.
❏ Check, by dismantling the sieve end-plate, that the beaters
mounted on the shaft turn freely and without coming into hard
contact with the sieve mounting (a possibility if there is damage
during shipment).
❏ Check that the receiving pans are carefully placed.
■ Semolina reduction roll side
Same for points referred to above.
No contact with the moving parts of the machine is required when
using the TEST MILL.
Grinding must be done without manipulating the plugs which close
the sight-holes of the machine cylinders and sieve plates.
Handling any of the moving parts (sight-hole plugs, guide
plates) requires stopping machine beforehand.
Any eventual repair work involving the central chamber of
the machine requires disconnecting the two power supply
plugs.
