Before returning the Gage for service...
1.
Install new or newly recharged batteries in the proper alignment
as shown within battery compartment.
2.
Clean the measurement anvils using the cleaning card (pg. 7).
3.
Perform a Hard Reset (pg. 9).
4.
Verify accuracy and operation (pg. 7)
5.
If issue is not resolved, Update (pg. 18) your PosiTector gage
body and re-attempt measurements.
IMPORTANT:
If these steps do not resolve the issue and the Gage must be
returned for service, please follow the instructions provided at
www.defelsko.com/service.
