long time.

- Do not move the device while it is in use.
- Do not exceed the weighing capacity of the device.
- Do not use the device with wet feet.
- Do not store the device in upright position.
- Do not store the device with cracked or broken glass.
- Improper use of the product may cause risks and revoke the guarantee
and liability.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

We would like to thank you for choosing UFESA. First check that the
appliance is complete and undamaged. Contact the store where you pur-
chased the product in the event of any doubt.
With your purchase you have acquired:
•1 UFESA BE1855 scale
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The safety instructions marked at the beginning of this manual must be
followed at all times when using this device.
Follow the instructions below in order to switch on the device:
1. Remove the product from its original packaging taking special care not to
damage any of its parts. Do not use excessive force to remove the product
from the box.
2. Remove the cover of the battery on the back of the scale.
3. Insert the 2 AAA (LR03) charged batteries in the position indicated on the
scale after removing the cover. Batteries not included.
4. Put the cover back on.
5. If the device is not to be used for a prolonged period of time, remove the
batteries to prevent acid leaks from the battery.
6. If the message "Lo" is displayed, replace the batteries.
7. Place the device on a hard, rigid, flat, stable horizontal surface free of
vibration.
8. Prepare the apparatus according to the unit weight. The factory settings
use the units "kg" and "cm". To change the settings to "lb" or "st" and to "Ft:
