Number of soil stand brackets
Depending on the type and length, install
►
each steel panel radiator with the specified
number of soil stand brackets (Fig. 2).
Note all instructions particularly technical
►
data and application limits.
Transport and storage only in protective
►
packaging.
Pre-assemble the soil stand bracket (Fig. 5)
Insert the covering caps (3) into the two
►
openings of the carrier pipe (2a/2b).
Insert the console bracket (4) into the pro
►
vided holes of the carrier pipe (2a/2b).
Slide the pre-assembled carrier pipe with
►
the elongated holes for the hook (6) onto
the bracket foot and set the desired ground
clearance.
Note: Recommended distance for finished
flooring is 150 mm (Fig. 4).
Fix the carrier pipe with the threaded pins
►
(9).
Insert support (5) above into the bracket
►
foot (slot is on the front side).
Refer to table in Fig. 6 for dimensions for
►
installing the soil stand brackets on the ra
diator.
Installation of the radiator with the soil stand
brackets is feasible in a different sequence:
•
Installation variant A: First installation of
the soil stand brackets on the radiator
•
Installation variant B: First installation of
the soil stand brackets on the floor
Both installation variants have been described
subsequently.
Installation variant A
Place the radiator on the head (Fig. A1).
►
►
Place the pre-assembled bracket on the
bottom part of the radiator in the area of
the lugs at an angle and insert carefully
(Fig. A2).
In the process, the console bracket (4) is
placed on the longitudinal seam of the ra
diator.
Hang the hook (6) in the bottom radiator
►
lug and insert it through the elongated
hole of the carrier pipe (2a/2b). Screw to
gether with the hexagonal nut (8) and the
washer (7).
The soil stand bracket is clamped (Fig. A3)
to the radiator by tightening the hexagonal
nut (8).
Place the radiator on the soil stand bracket
►
feet and position it at the installation loca
tion (Fig. A4).
Mark the boreholes through the bores of
►
the soil stand bracket feet (Fig. A5).
Remove the radiator and bore holes at the
►
marked positions (Fig. A6).
Position the radiator, align it and fix it to
►
the floor using suitable dowels and screws
(4 screws per bracket, max. Ø 10 mm)
(Fig. A7).
Align the radiator after loosening the
►
threaded pin (9) and the hexagonal nut (8)
horizontally. Then re-tighten the threaded
pin (9) and the hexagonal nut (8) (Fig. A8).
Pull again the package completely over the
►
radiator (Fig. A9).
Installation variant B
Align the soil stand brackets in the speci
►
fied distance to the floor and mark the bore
holes (Fig. B1).
Bore holes at the marked positions (Fig. B2).
►
Position the soil stand brackets, align and
►
fix them to the floor using suitable dow
els and screws (4 screws per bracket, max.
Ø 10 mm) (Fig. B3).
Place the radiator carefully on the soil stand
►
bracket feet (Fig. B4).
Hang the hook (6) in the bottom radiator
►
lug and insert it through the elongated
hole of the carrier pipe (2a/2b). Screw to
gether with the hexagonal nut (8) and the
washer (7) (Fig. B5).
The soil stand bracket is clamped to the ra
diator by tightening the hexagonal nut (8).
Align the radiator after loosening the
►
threaded pin (9) and the hexagonal nut (8)
horizontally. Then re-tighten the threaded
pin (9) and the hexagonal nut (8) (Fig. B6).
Pull again the package completely over the
►
radiator (Fig. B7).
