Water dispenser

Very important: Read this entire manual before using the water dispenser.
The texts in the manual correspond to the numbered diagrams.
The water dispenser system enables cold drinks to be
dispensed at any time of day without needing to open
the refrigerator door. This system does not require a
water inlet.
Before using the water dispenser for the fi rst time, it is
recommended to clean the circuit and its components
(see point 2).
1
Use
1.1 Components. The water dispenser consists of:
(inside) 1. lid, 2. fi lter, 3. fi lter holder, 4. valve, 5. tank.
(outside) 6. dispenser, 7. anti-drip support.
Filling the tank
1.2 Bottled water. The fi lter does not need to be
used, and you may therefore remove the fi lter holder.
Open the top fl ap (1.2.1) and fi ll the tank (1.2.2).
1.3 Tap water. It is recommended to use the tap
water fi lter. Remove the tank from the refrigerator
(1.3.1). If there is no fi lter fi tted, remove the lid (1.3.2)
and fi t a fi lter into the fi lter holder (1.3.3). Fill the tank
with tap water (1.3.4) and wait for all the water to run
through the fi lter (1.3.5). After fi ltering, fi ll the tank up
to the top (1.3.6), replace the lid (1.3.7) and place the
tank in the refrigerator, taking care to place the valve
correctly (1.3.8). You may also fi ll the tank without
removing it, with the aid of a jug or bottle.
Dispensing cold water
1.4 A steady supply of cold water. Press the
dispensing lever on the outside of the refrigerator
with a glass or cup, making sure the glass is correctly
placed. After dispensing the required amount, keep
the glass in place for a few seconds after releasing
the lever to catch any drips.
1.5 Using again after a period of disuse. If you
have not used the appliance for some time, the water
may taste unpleasant. We recommend you discard
the fi rst glass.
2
Maintenance
and cleaning
It is recommended to clean the dispenser and its
components periodically.
2.1 Cleaning the anti-drip support. Pull the support out
to remove it. Wash it with water and detergent. Replace
the support.
2.2 Cleaning the circuit. Fill the tank with hot water
and white vinegar, and drain it using the dispensing
lever. Rinse the tank by fi lling it with clean water and
then using the dispensing lever to drain it.
2.3 Cleaning the tank. Take the tank out of the
refrigerator and wash its components with water and
detergent. Rinse with plenty of water.
6
Do not wet the fi lter, as it would lose all its
properties.
2.4 Cleaning the valve. Press down on the valve
and turn it to the right to remove it from the tank
(2.4.1). Wash the valve and spring with a fl exible
brush, using a mix of hot water and vinegar (2.4.2).
Replace the valve.
The accessories are not dishwasher-safe.
3
Troubleshooting
No water is coming out. Check the tank has been
fi lled and correctly fi tted in place.
Water leak inside the refrigerator. Check the tank
is correctly fi tted in place.
The tank will not come out. Pull the tank upwards,
rocking it from left to right.
Water leak from the tank valve. Check the valve is
correctly fi tted in place.
Diffi culty fi tting the tank in place. Wet the tank
sealing gasket with a little water (1.3.8).
Unpleasant tastes or smells in water. If you have not
used the dispenser for some time, the water may have
absorbed tastes from the conduction system or smells
from the food. We suggest your proceed as follows:
• Discard the fi rst glass of water.
• Empty and clean the water container and replace the
water.
• Cover the food suitably to prevent smells and fl avours
from being transferred to the water.
4
Safety
Do not use your dispenser for fi zzy or sugary drinks
as this could damage the system and cause hygiene
problems.
If you use your dispenser with tap water or as an iced tea
dispenser, it is recommended to use a fi lter and clean it
frequently.
The fi lter is not required if bottled water is used.
You may acquire the fi lters separately from your After-
sales Service or from a Clearit brand authorised dealer.
The fi lter should be changed after 1 month of use.
Keep used and spare fi lters out of the reach
of children; consumption in large amounts may be
dangerous.
