Adjust the condition of the viewfinder screen. (Page E-6)

Brightness : Adjust the BRIGHT control.

Set the POWER switch of the camera to "ON".

Set the OUTPUT switch of the camera to "BARS".

Adjust the brightness and contrast of the image by turning the BRIGHT and
CONTRAST controls on the viewfinder, and the chroma of the image by the
CHROMA control.
Turning the PEAKING control makes the picture appear sharper, and it also
facilitates focusing.
