Use two or more people to move and install food recycler.
Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.
1.
Remove carton and packing material
Cut along dashed line around the bottom edge of the carton.
Lift the carton off the food recycler. Remove all exterior
packing material.

Remove carton bottom and foam base
Using two or more people, lift up on the food recycler to remove
the carton bottom and foam base.
NOTE: To avoid damaging floor covering, slide food recycler
onto cardboard or hardboard before moving food recycler
across floor.

Press down on the retention tab and pull out on the output bin.
4.
Remove the output bin. Remove the Zera™ air filter and additive
packs from the food recycler output bin. Set the additive packs
aside for future use.
IMPORTANT: To avoid product damage, the use of a hand
cart is not recommended once the food recycler is removed
from the carton.
Dispose of/recycle all packaging materials as directed by the
How2Recycle label on the box.
5.
Reach into output bin housing and insert fingertips into the
handle at the bottom of the filter holder. Pull up on the handle,
then pull filter holder out of the output bin housing.
