CLEANING
1 .
Unplug the unit and allow to cool completely before cleaning .
Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid .

Wash the cooking bowl, lid, serving spoon and measuring cup in warm,
soapy water or in the dishwasher . Dry thoroughly .

Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads—they may scratch
the nonstick surface or could result in poor contact with the heating plate .

Wipe interior and exterior surfaces of cooking base with a damp cloth
or sponge and dry thoroughly .
Important: Never immerse cooking base in water or other liquids . Never use
abrasive cleansers or scouring pads to clean the cooking base, as they may
damage the surfaces .
Tip: If food is stuck to the bottom of the cooking bowl, add hot, soapy water
and allow the bowl to stand for several minutes . This releases any food
particles and with just a wipe of a sponge or plastic scrubber the bowl
is perfectly clean without damaging the nonstick surface .
STORING
• Make sure the appliance is thoroughly cool and dry .
• Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance; keep it loosely coiled .
• Placing the lid on upside-down for storage can help save space .
