Inflatable SUP – Aquaglide makes some of the highest quality inflatable SUP boards in the world. With
proper care and maintenance, our products are expected to last for years under normal use. We list
important tips and instructions below. If unsure about any point, please reach us through our website at
Aquaglide.com/contact-us.
Air Pump - Use an air pump recommended for inflating your board; a high-volume/ high-pressure
hand pump is included. Other frequently used options are high-volume electrical pumps operating on
either 12v (car battery) or AC mains power (120v or 230v) depending on available power sources. Air
compressors designed for high-pressure inflation are not recommended because they can lead to over-
inflation.
Valve(s) – This board uses a Halkey Roberts – type (HR) valve. HR valve
attaches to product using a threaded backing plate, making it easily
replaceable in the unlikely event of damage.
Access valve by twisting cap counterclockwise. Pull to remove – cap is
attached to valve by lanyard. To close, place cap over valve, twist clockwise to
secure. Note: cap is the secondary air seal. See A.
Valve Operation: To operate Halkey Roberts – type (HR)
valve, press plunger and turn 90 degrees to set valve
for inflate and product use (plunger out = 1-way airflow).
Press plunger and turn 90 degrees to deflate (plunger
in = 2-way airflow). Note: valve is primary air seal. After
inflation, close with cap for secondary seal. See B.
To inflate, an air pump with Halkey Roberts – type (HR)
valve fitting is required. Insert fitting firmly into valve and
twist clockwise to lock in place. See C.
Tie-Downs: Product is fitted with 6 webbing loop tie-
downs for attaching gear such as a cooler. To simplify
attachment, board includes aluminum carabiners for each
tie-down. To avoid stepping on carabiners, use only
when necessary to attach items to board. Open
carabiner gate and slip carabiner through needed
tie-down loops. Use webbing rack straps or strong
synthetic rope through carabiners to attach item.
Remove unused carabiners and store on bag. See D.
Universal Mount Plate: Product is fitted with
Universal Mount plate designed to fit a wide range
of aftermarket accessories including AG Cupholder,
sold separately. Plate accepts ¼-20 x 7/8" Stainless
mounting screws. Internal hardware is #304 grade
Stainless and should be thoroughly rinsed with fresh water
after ocean use. See E.
Molle Plate: Product is fitted with a molle plate [pronounced
Molly - an acronym for modular lightweight load-carrying
equipment] designed to fit a wide range of aftermarket gear
accessories, sold separately. Plate accepts most standard
molle/ pals accessories with standard 1" (25mm) webbing
ladder. See F.
Proper Working Pressure is listed below. Do not overfill
or underfill. Excessive pressure can cause damage to the
product and may void the warranty. Do not use without
adequate air pressure. Product can become unstable if underfilled and may not support indicated
capacity. If in doubt, use a pressure gauge (manometer) to monitor air pressure in the product.
