INTENDED USE

The RJ5500 Walkabout's intended use is as a Rollator, a walking aid with wheels, manipulated
by both arms.
WARNING: This product has a maximum weight capacity of 325 lb (147 kg), EVENLY
DISTRIBUTED.
WARNING: DO NOT use this rollator as a wheelchair or transport device. Rollators ARE
NOT intended to be propelled while seated.

    WARNING: To ensure the Rollator is properly balanced, all wheels must be in contact with the floor at all times during use. WARNING: Always use caution when using the Rollator on wet or slippery surfaces. DO NOT use the Rollator on stairs or steep inclines. WARNING: DO NOT hang anything from the Rollator frame.

    ASSEMBLY Refer to pictures at right during assembly. Install the Handles s NOTICE: Ensure brake fig. 3 cables are OUTSIDE handles. 1. Install both handles in frame handle receptacles as shown in fig. 2. 2. Insert hex bolt heads in hex indents on insides of handles while inserting hex bolts fig.

Secure with E-clip and male knob as shown in figs. 8 and 9. WARNING: Ensure all four legs are locked in place at the same height, and that E-clips and male knobs are tight, before proceeding.

    Adjust the Handle Height Info: Consult your healthcare professional to determine proper handle height adjustment. See fig. 12 for approximate desired handle height. 1. Loosen and remove hex bolts and female knobs from handles. 2. Adjust handles to desired height. 3.
  • Página 6 Using the Brakes 1. Pull up to apply brakes. 2. Push down to lock brakes for sitting. 3. Release brakes. To Sit on Rollator Rest Seat 1. Push the hand brakes down, away from the handles, until the hand fig. 14 brakes lock into parked position.

    CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE • To remove dust and dirt, wipe Rollator gently with a clean, soft, damp cloth. • Inspect wheels periodically for wear or damage. Verify that wheels are free of hair or any other obstruction to free wheel operation. Inspect caster stems for assembly tightness. Use a clean, soft cloth and a mild soap and water solution to clean, rinse with clear water, then dry with a soft cloth.

(“GF”) warrants to the original purchaser only that it will replace or repair components, at GF’s sole discretion, that are defective in material or workmanship under normal use and service.     ENSAMBLAJE Refiérase a las fotografías a la derecha durante el ensamblaje. Instalación de las Manijas s AVISO: asegúrese de que los cables de freno estén en fig. 3 las asas EXTERIORES. Instale ambas manijas en los receptáculos de la manija del marco como se muestra en la fig.

    Ajuste la Altura de las Manijas Info: Consulte a su profesional de la salud para determinar el ajuste correcto de altura de las manijas. Refiérase a la fig. 12 para la altura aproximada deseada de las manijas. 1. Afloje y quite los pernos hexagonales y las perillas femininas de las manijas.

    LIMPIANDO Y MANTENIMIENTO • Para eliminar el polvo y la suciedad, limpie el Rodador suavemente con un paño limpio, suave y húmedo. • Inspeccione periódicamente las ruedas para desgaste o daño. Verifique que las ruedas estén libres de pelo o cualquier otro obstrucción a la operación de rueda libre. Inspeccione el cojinte/eje de las ruedas para asamblea firme.
