USING YOUR EVAPORATIVE AIR COOLER

ON/OFF
Turning the Evaporative Air Cooler
On or Off
When the evaporative air cooler is plugged in, it will beep once,
the display will light, and the cooler will enter standby mode. If no
button is pressed, the display will dim and the air cooler will go
into standby mode after a few seconds.
Press the ON/OFF button once to turn the
evaporative air cooler on and open the vent
louvers. The evaporative air cooler will run at the
previous settings.
To turn the evaporative air cooler off at any time, press the ON/
OFF button again. The vent louvers will close and the cooler will
turn off.
NOTE: In the event of a power failure, your evaporative air cooler
will immediately turn off. It will then operate at the previous
settings when the power is restored and the ON/OFF is pressed.
Selecting the Fan Speed
The Fan Speed has 3 settings. The number of lights
above the button will indicate the fan speed:
Low •
■
Medium • •
■
High • • •
■
When first turned on, the fan will run at Low speed.
Press the SPEED button again until the indicator light
for the desired setting is lit.

Cool Mode

For Cool mode, the water tank must be filled with clean water.
See "Filling the Water Tank". For additional cooling power,
add ice cubes to the water tank, or use the Ice Pack (on some
models).
Press COOL to activate Cool mode. The fan will run at the
selected speed, and the evaporative air cooler will blow
humidified air for increased cooling effectiveness

Auto Shut-Off
You can set the evaporative air cooler to shut off
automatically after a set amount of time, up to 8 hours.
To set Auto Shut-Off:
1. With the evaporative air cooler on, press TIMER once
to set an auto shut-off of 1 hour.
Each additional press of TIMER will increase the
ON/OFF
delay time 1 > 2 > 4 > 8, then back to off.
2. After the set time, the Evaporative air cooler will turn off

Vertical and horizontal louvers control the
fan direction. You can adjust the louvers to

a specific angle or to automatically swing
up and down/side to side by pressing

To adjust the side-to-side air movement:
Press the SWING LEFT/RIGHT button to start the automatic

Press the SWING UP/DOWN button to start the automatic
movement up and down. Press again to stop the louvers in a
fixed location.
