Operating the Thomas Bankout
Using Auxiliary Batteries for Starting
Connect the positive pole of the Thomas Bankout to the positive pole of the auxiliary
battery. Then connect the negative pole of the auxiliary battery to a good ground on the
Thomas Bankout frame, well away from battery. The battery on the Thomas Bankout is
negative grounded. Reversing polarity by improper battery or alternator connection will
cause instant damage to electrical equipment.
Warning: Hydrogen gas, given off by storage batteries, is highly explosive! Avoid
causing sparks near batteries.
