PASO 6 - CONECTE EL CABLE A TIERRA - Cont.
NOTA: Si ya existe un punto de tierra en el bastidor, utilícelo para conectar el
cable a tierra y omita el paso referente a taladrar el agujero.
NOTA: Limpie el punto de conexión del cable a tierra en el bastidor hasta el metal
al desnudo.
4. Extienda el cable a tierra para
llegar hasta el bastidor del vehículo
(FIG. 44-2) sin tensionar el cable
(después de conectarlo). Conéctelo,
si es posible, a un punto de tierra existente.
5. Si es necesario, taladre un agujero
en el bastidor del vehículo utilizando
una broca de 11/32" (0.343" [9 mm])
para poder atornillar la terminal del
cable a tierra (FIG. 44-2).
6. Atornille la terminal del cable a tierra
al bastidor del vehículo tal como se
muestra en la FIG. 44-2.
