17. Secure the Receptor to the Stud Framing
NOTE: If the unit is shimmed, make sure the length of the fasteners is sufficient to span the shims and
penetrate into the studs at least 1" (2.5 cm).
Tack the corners of the receptor into place using #6 large head galvanized nails (not supplied) to
fasten the unit.
Shim the receptor as needed at each of the remaining wall studs and finish nailing the receptor into
place in the predrilled holes.
NOTE: The finished walls should be installed as plumb as possible. If the finished walls are not plumb,
the shower door installation will be affected.
Complete the finished walls.
