Basic usage of the phone
Change language:
– Press B F select 'Handset settings'
and press D
– Select 'Language' B F and press D
– Select required language B F
– Press D to confirm
Set time/date:
– Press B F select 'Time/ Date' and press D
– Enter time F
– Enter date F
– Select 'Done' and Press D to confirm
Change ringtone:
– Press B F select 'Sounds' and press D
– Select 'Ring tone' B F and press D
– Press B F to select favorite sound
– Press D to confirm
Make a phone call:
– Enter the number using the keypad
– Press D to start call
– Press E to end the call
Make a phone call using the phone book:
– Press C to open phone book
– Use B F to browse your contacts
– Press D to select the desired contact
– Use B F to browse the phone numbers
– Press D to start the call
– Press E to end the call
Hands free mode:
– When in call press D on handsfree to
toggle on/off
Volume control:
– When in call press B F and select 'Volume'
– Press D
– Press B F to adjust the volume.
– Press E or wait 2 seconds to return to
incall menu
Enter a new contact in the phone book:
– Press C to open phone book
– Press D to select 'New'
– Use the keypad to enter the name,
E operates as backspace
– Select 'Done' and press D to confirm
– Press B F to select the option you want
to assign a number
– Press D to select
– Enter the number using the keypad
– Select 'Done' and press D to save and
finish the procedure
Activate/deactivate answering machine:
– Press A to open answer phone
– Press B F and select 'Settings'
– Press D
– Press D to toggle answering machine On/Off
Listen to all new messages:
– Press A
– Select 'New' and press D
– Press D to play all
Listen to a selected new message:
– Press A
– Select 'New' and press D
– Press B F to browse the messages
– Press D to select
– Select 'Play' and press D to play the message
Slave Unit DP 01S
How to register this handset to the Punkt.'s base
unit (provided only with the 'DP 01' model)
Note:
If you purchased the Slave Unit DP 01S of the
Punkt DECT phone, you need to follow the below
procedure in order to be able to make and receive
phone calls with your Punkt. handset.
Important:
Connect the base of the slave unit to the 'power'
socket only. Do NOT connect the base of the slave
unit to the telephone 'line', since the base of the
slave unit is used only to charge the batteries of the
slave handset when it's not in use.
– On the slave handset (DP01S), press F , select
'Handset settings' and press D .
– Select 'Registration' and press D .
– Select 'Base 1' and press D if you have only one
Punkt Base unit (DP01), already available and
powered on. If your Punkt Handset had been
previously registered to another Base unit, you
can select 'Base 2' (or 'Base 3;4') in order to keep
also the previous registration setting of your
Handset to that base.
– Insert the base PIN code (4 digits, default: 0000),
then press F to highlight the 'Done' option
– Press D . The message: 'Press and hold page
button on base' will show up on the display
– Keep pressed the page button G on the base until
the display will show up the list 'Handset
1,2,3,4,5'. Release the page button now
– Select your 'Handset number' among the list just
showed up (as default case you should select:
'Handset 2'), then press D to end the registration
procedure
– Once the registration procedure is finished, press
again the page button G shortly on the base, in
order to check that all handsets which are
registered to that base will ring at the same time
on incoming call
