4.2.- ELECTRONIC SAFETY

In the design of this radio equipment, the security norms
!
UNE-EN 60950 and especially the UNE-EN 60215 have been
considered.
Besides, we advise to take into account the following points:
1. If the repeater is placed next to other electronic equipment, we have to
consider the influence that the radiofrequency power (which produces
the repeater when it is transmitting) can have on them. For this reason, if
there is any suspicion about a wrong functioning, promoted by that
cause, it is necessary to contact the manufacturer of the mentioned
units.
2. It will be avoided that the repeater transmits without the corresponding
antenna connection, because apart from generating in the surroundings
higher quantity of radiofrecuency energy, it can provoke the breaking of
the power amplifier.
3. It is also warned that there is a possibility of getting burnt if the connector
output of the transmitter when the repeater is transmitting is touched with
a naked part of the body.
4. In long periods of transmission high temperatures can be reached in the
right side part of the repeater where the looser of the power amplifier is
located.
