Half a vanilla pod

100g of brown sugar

2 cardamom seeds

1 cinnamon stick

Add the red wine and brown sugar to the vat. Then add the cinnamon stick,
cloves, cardamom seeds and a star anise to the wine. Open the vanilla pod and
collect the seeds with the tip of a knife and then add them to the wine.
Add the orange zest and juice to the wine and bring to a boil for 4 minutes.
Turn off the appliance and let it stand for 24 hours.
When ready to serve, heat the wine in the appliance and keep at the desired
temperature. Remove the spices and fruit from the vat and serve the mulled
wine.
