4. Install Window Unit
• Measure across head, center, and sill of unit.
Center dimension should match head and sill
dimensions. Shim to straighten Side Jamb,
if necessary, by inserting shims at midpoint
behind the Side Jamb between unit frame and
rough opening.
• Secure unit to rough opening using 1-3/4"
roofing nails through Installation Flanges.
Space nails every other hole.
Window unit must also be secured through unit
frame. Failure to do so could result in product
damage.
5. Secure Unit Through Jambs
• Plumb, level, and square window by shimming behind
each hole. Measure unit across top, bottom and
center. Measurements should be equal.
• Secure window to rough opening through drilled holes
using #10 x 3" flat head screws.
• Reapply Sill Trim Piece and fasten using finish nails.
• Reapply Head Jamb Liner and Side Jamb Liners by
snapping into place.
