INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
E-FCB and E-FFB Series
MOUNTING USING 2" FITTER (E-FFB18 AND
E-FFB23)
NOTE: fixture is intended to be mounted on 2-3/8" (60 mm) O.D. heavy
wall pipe or tenon.
1.
Remove splice compartment cover from upper fitter by removing
(2) screws on cover.
2.
Route supply leads through bottom of the fitter and into fitter splice
compartment.
3.
Strain relief is required for electrical connections on 2" adjustable
fitter mounts at heights of 35' (7.6 m) and above. Tie a knot in the
supply wires above the supply wire entry hole in the fitter splice
compartment to reduce the strain on the connections. Make sure
the knot will not slip through the hole.
4.
Slip lower fitter over the mounting pipe or tenon, being careful not
to pinch any leads.
5.
Aim fixture by rotating on pipe or tenon to desired direction.
Securely tighten (2) Allen set screws on fitter to 140 in-lbs
(16 N•m).
6.
Loosen (DO NOT remove) Allen head bolt holding two halves of
fitter together. Tilt fixture to desired angle. Tighten bolt to
132 in-lbs (15 N•m).
7.
Wire in splice compartment as indicated in Electrical
Connections section.
8.
Replace fitter splice compartment cover and tighten (2) screws
that were removed in Step 1.
