The seal ring (5.4) should be replaced after having dis-
assembled the filter several times. It is available as a
spare part.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• All current carrying devices must be disconnected
from the mains supply before conducting any work
in the aquarium.
• Check regularly whether the hoses are still firmly in
place as to prevent water damage, especially if you
install the filter outside the aquarium.
• The plastic material of the sera multi fil 350 is not
solvent resistant and may become unusable upon
contact with solvents.
• The air vent hose may stick very firmly on the air
vent opening. Avoid pulling off the hose forcefully
as to prevent the air vent nozzle breaking off. Try
carefully cutting the air vent hose up from above
with a nail scissors instead. Screw the filter together
by hand without any tools.
