3.2 Assign AS-Interface slave address

Before connecting to the AS-Interface bus: assign an
unused address to each slave.
Note
– Valve terminal type CPA...-GE-ASI-4E4A-Z can be
addressed at the following connections as desired:
– Plug for flat cable "Bus" or M12 plug
– Addressing socket "Addr."
– It is not necessary to parametrize the AS-Interface
slave.
Permitted address range: 1 ... 31 (factory setting 0).
For addressing at the plug for the flat cable "Bus" or at the
M12 plug "Bus/24 V DC":
Use the addresser type ASI-PRG-ADR with adapter cable
type KASI-ADR.
Or addressing at the addressing socket "Addr.":
Use the addresser type ASI-PRG-ADR with a connecting
cable (e.g. part no. 3RK1901-3HA01 from Siemens).

tective cap supplied (IP65).
