BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

To guarantee the flavour in your first cup of coffee,
you need to rinse the coffee maker with hot water as
follows:
Open the water tank lid and pour water into the

Note 1: You can remove the coffee pot at any time to serve coffee but replace it
within 30 seconds.
Note 2: The appliance switches off automatically 30 minutes after the start of the
coffee brewing cycle.
Once brewing is finished, remove the coffee pot and serve the coffee

(approximately one minute after the coffee stops flowing).
Note: The amount of coffee that is brewed is less than the amount of water poured
into the tank, as part of the water is absorbed by the ground coffee. For safety
reasons, we recommend that you close the coffee pot lid when you pour the coffee;
this also helps it to stay hot.
The coffee maker switches to keep warm mode when brewing is finished.

Always switch off the coffee maker and always disconnect its power cable from the

mains when you are not using the coffee maker.
Note: Take care when pouring the coffee, as it is very hot just after the end of the
brewing cycle and could burn you.
