An unbalanced blade may cause
extreme vibration during high rotation
spin. This may also damage the cutter,
and cause injury.
•
Before using the lawn mower, check
whether the cutting blade is fixed.
Visually inspect the blade for damage or
dullness. Replace the blade and
damaged or worn out screws to maintain
balance. In case the blade needs
sharpening, sharpen both sides to avoid
unbalance.
•
Mow the grass when it is dry.
•
When mowing the grass, keep the power
supply cord behind the lawn mower.
•
When starting the lawn mower and
operating the lawn mower, keep your
feet away from the mower base.
•
Always keep the mower opening to the
grass catcher unobstructed.
•
Neither lift nor carry the mower when the
motor is on or plugged in.
•
Keep all nuts and screws tighten to make
sure the lawn mower is in useable
condition.
•
Check and control the status of the
power supply cord; never mend it with
tape.
•
If the mower power cord is damaged, it
should be replaced by the
Assistance Shop (or dealer) in order to
avoid the risk of an accident.
•
After mowing the grass, manually clear
the grass from the upper and lower parts
of the mower.
•
Never use water to clean the lawn mower.
Clean it with a sponge or cloth soaked in
neutral detergent.
•
Start the motor with the cutting blade
free of obstacles and wait for the motor
to reach the ideal rotation. Do not start
the mower directly on the grass.

Whenever cleaning or maintaining the
lawn mower, make sure the motor is off
and the blade has come to a stop.
Unplug the extension cord.

The blade keeps rotating for a while after
the motor is switched off.
•
Watch out - do not put your hands or feet
near or inside the lawn mower base.
•
Use proper gauge extension cord.
Double Insulation
Minimower
is provided with double
electrical insulation to offer greater safety to
the operator. The double insulation is
obtained through two layers of electrical
insulation material in all electrical
components.
Despite this double insulation guarantee, the
safety precautions described in this manual
have to be followed.
Electric equipment constructed with this
insulation system do not require the use of a
ground wire.
Warning!
The double insulation does not
substitute the precautions that have
to be taken when using the lawn
mower. It is an additional safety
feature against accidents that can be
caused by an insulation system
failure of the lawn mower.
Correct Use of Extension Cord
Depending on the length of your extension
cord please use the proper gauge extension
cord for the Minimower.
Check with your local hardware store for
details.
