Trailer Hitch
Hitch Capacity
Trailer Weight Rating: See owner's manual for specific rating.
Tongue weight: 10 -15% of trailer weight up to 900 lb.
Use as weight carrying and weight distribution only.
Warning: Although this hitch is designed to safely tow its rated
load, we recommend that you consult your vehicle owner's manual
for possible manufacturer's recommendations or limitation. Be
sure your trailer has safety chains and that each chain will hold the
trailer's maximum gross weight.

Tools Needed
Torque wrench
13 mm, 21 mm socket
Procedure
Warning:
• Wear Safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.
• In order to avoid being burned, do not service the vehicle while
the exhaust system is still hot. Service the vehicle when the ex
haust system is cool.
Remove Tire Bracket Bolts
1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
2. Remove rear set of M8 bolts and clips (2 total) using 13mm socket.
See Figure 1.

Bumper Removal
1. Remove all harnesses attached to bumper.
2. Make sure that both the bumper and bumper bar are secured while
removing 4 M14 bolts from both sides of vehicle as shown using
21mm socket. See Figure 2

Remove the bumper and bumper bar. See Figure 3

Hitch Attachment
Attach the hitch with reused hardware as shown in Figure 4. Make sure
that the lower bolts are not tightened until the bumper is also in place
since hitch will need to be moved to allow for bumper bracket clearance.
Do not fasten lower bolts in all way
until the bumper is in place

Tighten all (8) M14 bolts to 160 +/- 25 Nm as shown in See Figure 5
Fasten Tire Bracket
Replace the (2) M8 bolts, clips, and tire bracket. See Figure 5
Tighten all (2) M8 bolts to 22 +/- 3 Nm.
Wiring Harness
Install wiring harness (Wiring installation instructions included).
