Enable Caption: using the left or right direction
button to select a mode: On mute, Yes or No.
On Mute:
Displays captioning information,
when available, whenever the TV's sound is
muted by pressing the MUTE button. The
captioning information is not displayed when
the sound is not muted.
Yes: Captioning information always appears,
when available.
No: No captioning information displayed.
Analog Closed Caption:
encoded with closed-captioning information,
which lets you display the audio portion of a
program as text on the TV screen. Caption is not
available on all channels at all times. Only
specific programs encoded with closed-captioning
information are applicable.

General Operation
CC1 and TEXT1 are the primary caption and
text services. The captioning or text is displayed
in the same language as the program's dialog.
CC3 and TEXT3 serve as the preferred data
channels. The captioning or text is often a
secondary language translation, simplified
English, or displayed at a slower rate.
CC2 and CC4, and TEXT2 and TEXT4 are
rarely available and broadcasters use them only
in special conditions, such as when CC1 and
CC3 are not available, or TEXT1 and TEXT3 are
not available.
Digital Closed Caption:
captioning mode is use for displaying captioning
information.

Language 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8.
Superimpose Setup: select this option and
press the left or right direction button to toggle
among Off, Language 1 or Language 2.
Note:
The Digital CC and Superimpose Setup
options are adjustable only for digital
channels.
Clean Storage: select this option and press the OK
or right direction button to enter, then a dialogue box
appears, select Yes and press OK to clean all the
settings, or select Cancel and press OK to return to
