Description:
The AEP electrically operated waste oil disposal system is suitable for extracting waste oils out of
engines and generator sets and also for emptying collection tanks and pit sumps.
The oil sucked out is fed directly into the waste oil collection tank.
The system provides 3 options for the disposal of the waste oil:
1. Sucking it directly out of the oil sump by means of a waste oil shuttle valve, which is screwed into
the engine oil sump in place of the oil drain plug.
2. Sucking it out by means of a suction probe through the oil dipstick hole in the engine.
3. Emptying waste oil receivers and pit sumps by means of a large sized suction lance.
Waste oil shuttle valves are not included in the delivery specification. When ordering always state the
thread size.
Delivery specification:
1. Self-priming electric gear pump with 3m connection
cable, 220V mains plug and carrying handle.
2. 2m spirally reinforced DN 20 PVC suction hose with
quick release coupling
3. Suction line filter
4. Adapter for coupling the suction probes and connectors
for waste oil shuttle valves
5. Suction probe, Ø 5 mm flexible, 850 mm long

Pumped media:
Engine, transmission, lubricating and hydraulic oils (mineral based oil)
plus biologically degradable oils.
Media including hazardous materials Class A3 may be pumped.
Media to hazardous materials Class A1 and A2 must not be pumped.
If media not listed here are to be used, we request you to clear this with our technical department.
If oils are pumped which contain a high proportion of abrasive particles(metal wear particles, grinding
dust etc.), a fine filter must be fitted into the pump suction line.
