the metal socket (pointed end). The shorter, dark
gray pole goes at the foot end (dark gray tape), the
longer silver pole at the head end (light gray tape).
6. Stretch out the tent at the head and foot ends using
three pegs at each end. Note: The pole should be at
an inclination of c.15° from the outside inwards in
order to be able to tension the outer tent perfectly
(C1).
7. Open the entrance and relax the Powerframe by
pulling on the tent spanner (D).
8. Insert the peg on the central pole (and on the storm
guys if necessary).
9. Secure the hooks to the pole by closing the red
clamps.
TAKE DOWN – GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Remove everything from the tent's interior.
Freestanding tents can be gently shaken out to
remove leaves, sand, and other debris.
Turn the tent over with floor facing upward and
allow it to dry a bit longer.
If it's not possible to dry the tent completely before
11
packing it, this should be done within 12 hours to
prevent the risk of mold and mildew growth.
As in the tent set up, never pull the poles out of the
pole sleeves; rather push them through.
When storing a tent in its stuff sack, make sure that
stakes and poles don't press against the tent fabric
and damage it.
Before taking down your tent, close all zips and
roll up the guy lines. That way you won't have to
untangle them when it comes time to set the tent
up again, and pitching is that much easier.
DISMANTLING – "MODEL-SPECIFIC":
1. Remove the pegs, release the Powerframe hooks
and remove from the pole. Remove the pole.
2. Fold up the poles and roll them up with the tent, if
possible. Do not force the poles into the storage
bag if it is full, as this may result in damage to the
storage bag or tent.
