14.0 Replacement Parts

Replacement parts are listed on the following pages. To order parts or reach our service department, call 1-

Model Number and Serial Number of your machine available when you call will allow us to serve you quickly
and accurately.
Non-proprietary parts, such as fasteners, can be found at local hardware stores, or may be ordered from
Powermatic.
Some parts are shown for reference only, and may not be available individually.
Pulley setscrews or keys are missing
or loose.
Motor fan is hitting the cover.
V-belt is defective.
Tilting or raising lock knobs not
tightened.
Caster system still engaged.
Machine not resting evenly on floor.
Blade out of balance.
Pulley loose.
Belt is worn, cracked or frayed.
Motor malfunction.
Blade is warped.
Table top not parallel to blade.
Fence not parallel to blade.
90 degree stop is out of adjustment.
Miter gauge out of adjustment.
Miter slot misaligned.
Stop screws not set properly.
Lock knob not released.
Worm and trunnion segment caked
with sawdust and pitch.
Worm and trunnion segment out of
alignment.
Inspect keys and setscrews. Replace or
tighten if necessary.
Tighten fan or shim cover.
Replace V-belt.
Tighten lock knobs on handwheels
Disengage casters before operating saw.
Make sure floor is level; use shims beneath
cabinet if needed.
Replace blade.
Check motor pulley and spindle pulley.
Tighten set screws if needed.
Replace belt.
Have motor checked by a qualified
inspector. Repair or replace.
Replace saw blade.
Adjust table parallel to blade.
Adjust fence parallel to blade.
Adjust 90 degree stop.
Re-set stops and pointer on gauge.
Realign table to blade.
Readjust screws.
Loosen lock knob.
Clean and re-grease worm and segment.
Realign worm with segment (qualified
personnel).
