PROBLEM

POSSIBLE PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

CAUSE
The transmitter is switched off, the
batteries are low, the mains adaptor is
disconnected or there is no mains power.
- The transmitter does not
receive audible sounds.
- The transmitter and receiver are
set on different channels.
- The units are too distant.
- The batteries are spent.
- The may be caused by another Easy
Listening Baby Control placed nearby.
- Electromagnetic pollution
(i.e.: transmitting aerials, high
power cables nearby, etc.)
- Presence of obstacles.
- Spent batteries.
Interference caused by magnetic fi elds
created by other equipment: i.e.: electrical
appliances, mobile phones, cordless. etc.
- The units are too close to each other.
- The volume is too high.
SOLUTION
Check that the ON/OFF switch is in
the ON position, that the batteries
are charged, or, if the equipment is
powered through an adaptor, that
it is connected correctly and that,
there is power in the mains socket.
- In this case, there is no problem.
The transmitter will be activated as
soon as there are audible sounds.
In any case, for your peace of mind,
you can check the transmission with
the help of another person, who
must speak in the room where the
transmitter has been activated.
- Select the same channel on both
transmitter and receiver.
- Place the two units closer to each other.
- Replace the batteries.
- Change channel.

units far away from the area.
