5.3 Powering the antenna using an external power
supply unit (Fig. 2c)
• Connect the antenna cable from the antenna to the antenna
input on the ampli er adapter (4) and the antenna cable
from the ampli er adapter to the antenna input on the digital
TV or set-top box.
• Connect the USB cable to the ampli er adapter (6) and to a
suitable USB power supply unit (not included) and plug the
latter into a socket.
• Switch on the antenna by sliding the On/off switch (3) to the
'STD' or 'Turbo' position.
• Switch on the digital TV (or the set-top box and TV).
5.4 Standing the antenna / wall mounting
The antenna can be mounted either on the wall or in a base. In
the latter case, simply insert the base into the opening provided
on the rear of the antenna and push the cable into the cable
guide on the base.
For wall mounting, ensure that you use suitable screws and
dowels (not supplied) to secure the antenna to the wall.
Note – Wall mounting
• Before mounting, check that the wall you have chosen
is suitable for the weight to be mounted Also make sure
that there are no electric, water, gas or other lines running
through the wall at the mounting site.
• After the product has been mounted, check that it is
su ciently secure. You should repeat this check at regular
intervals.
5.5 TV reception
The ampli er power must be adjusted depending on the
station; to do this, slide the gain control (3) to the 'STD' or
'Turbo' position. There are two ampli cation levels: STD (= 12
dB) and 'Turbo' (= 20 dB).
Note
Please note that the number and quality of stations received
may vary depending on the position of the antenna and
local conditions.

Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and
do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
