    Pagina 8 • The Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR can be used on either the front seat or rear seat, even if equipped with an airbag! However, we recommend installing the seat on the rear seat. If this is not possible and the seat is equipped with an airbag, make sure the seat is in the rearmost position.
  • Página 5 A. The seat belt The Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR can be installed safely in a forward-facing position on nearly all positions in the car using the available car seat belts. On some seats, however, the belts are fitted so far forward that proper installation is not possible.

    The belt will remain threaded through the red belt hook. This makes is easier to buckle up the child again in the same position. When not in use, secure the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR with the seat belt.

    • The cover should be washed by hand at a maximum temperature of 30º C. Do not put it in the dryer (also see washing instructions). • It is advisable to buy an extra cover when purchasing the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR so that you can continue using the car seat when the cover is being washed.

    • Check to make sure the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR is securely adjusted into one of the two positions (sitting or reclining). • Check to make sure the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR is fastened in the seat belt when not in use. Any loose objects in the car can constitute a danger for passengers.

    • Ne laissez JAMAIS votre enfant seul dans la voiture. • Le Rodi XR de Maxi-Cosi peut être utilisé sur le siège avant comme sur la banquette arrière et ce, même si votre véhicule est équipé d’un airbag! Nous vous conseillons néanmoins d’installer le siège auto sur la banquette arrière.

    • Lassen Sie Ihr Kind NIEMALS unbeaufsichtigt im Wagen zurück. • Der Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR darf sowohl auf dem Beifahrersitz als auch auf dem Rücksitz benutzt werden. Auch wenn ein Airbag vorhanden ist! Wir empfehlen Ihnen jedoch, den Kindersitz auf dem Rücksitz zu montieren.
  • Página 20 • Auch ein Erwachsener, der keinen Sicherheitsgurt anlegt, kann eine Gefahr für das Kind im Kindersitz darstellen. • Decken Sie den Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR immer ab, wenn Sie das Auto in der prallen Sonne parken, da die Kunststoff sehr heiß werden können und Ihr Kind sich daran verbrennen kann. Außerdem verhindern Sie so, dass der Bezug unnötig verblasst.

    • Check altijd of de gordel goed en strak vastzit en haal elke speling uit de gordel. • Bij gebruik van de Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR op de passagierstoel moet deze in de achterste stand staan. De rugleuning van de autostoel dient ALTIJD RECHTOP te staan. Zet de stoel en hoofdsteun weer in de juiste stand als deze gebruikt wordt door een medepassagier.

    Let bij het installeren op de adviezen van het hoofdstuk ‘De autogordel’. Laat het kind in de Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR gaan zitten (11) met de rug goed tegen de ruggensteun aan. Let op dat het kind goed in het midden van de Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR zit en niet voorover buiten de rugleuning hangt.

    • Comprobar siempre que el cinturón de seguridad está bien abrochado. • Si se instala la Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR en el asiento delantero, este deberá situarse lo más atrás posible. El respaldo del asiento del automóvil debe estar SIEMPRE EN POSICIÓN VERTICAL. Colocar de nuevo el asiento y el reposacabezas en su posición original cuando vaya a ser utilizado por un pasajero adulto.

Verificar que el niño está centrado en el respaldo de la silla de auto, sin inclinarse hacia delante o hacia los lados.
