8.4 Life span

The product's lifespan depends on individual conditions of use. All system elements consist of corrosion-resistant
stainless steel (min. A2 quality) and ABS components and are, therefore, weather-resistant and low-maintenance.
Subject to proper assembly of Mobilfix, SKYLOTEC guarantees the Mobilfix system for 5 years against rusting and
material fatigue resulting in component failure, provided the equipment is inspected at least once a year by
SKYLOTEC or a certified agent.
A technical expert must also assess the possibility of further use of the device.
Following a fall, the equipment must be disabled and any further use prevented. The device must be inspected by
a technical expert and repaired if possible.
Slight surface rust near coastal areas does not constitute a material defect.
Under optimal conditions of use, the product should have a lifespan of max. 15 years.
