PTO Speed
During operation, rotation of power should never exceed 540 RPM in
order to prevent the spillage of the mixture.
So you have to figure out which engine speed in decision 540 RPM that
provides power.
For this these are four possibilities:
- Check for a possible indication the tachometer (rev counter) of the tractor.
- Check that the tractor has a decal that information.
- Consult the manual of the tractor.
- Of doubt persists, use a tachometer directly on the shaft power take-off.
Guidance on the Discharge Flow
There are basically two ways to control the flow of the discharge of the mixer:
1- Varying the rotation of the TDP (not more than 540 rpm), which controls the rotor speed mixer VMN
4.0.
2- Varying the travel speed of the tractor.
3- Regulating valve installed at the beginning of the hose.
If for example, the rotor speed of the mixer VMN 4.0 is too high relative to the mat, there could be
accumulation of material at the exit door, as well as non-uniform distribution. In the case, you should
slow the treadmill, following the instructions of the above.
If the belt speed is too low compared to the rotor mixer VMN 4.0, lacking in material output port. In this
case, increase the rotation of the TDP (not more than 540 rpm).
The tractor speed should be compatible with the discharge flow. To deposit more mixing in the troughs,
slow down the tractor and vice versa, but always maintain a proper rotation of the TDP.
Make sure your tractor has a table
and/or graphic scale, informing the
travel speed for different speed in each
gear, as illustrated below. It will help in
the work of unloading front.
Never work with the PTO
rotation above 540 rpm.
