MEMORIZATION OF NEXT IN THE RECEIVER
1. Activate the memorization phase on the receiver following the
procedure indicated on the V2 Receiver's instructions handbook.
2. Approach a memorized key to the frontal panel of the proximity
reader (4 cm of distance): LED L1 is illuminated for 1 second
accompanied by a BEEP signaling the recognition of the key and
the activation of the radio transmission.
3. Verify that the memorization on the receiver took place.
VERIFICATION OF THE RADIO OPERATION
Before mounting the device it is advisable to verify that the system
functions properly:
1. Open the device and insert the batteries provided (see paragraph
INSTALLATION OF the BATTERIES)
2. Initialize the device (see paragraph INITIALIZATION OF THE
PROXIMITY READER)
3. Memorize a key in the inner memory of NEXT (see
paragraph MEMORIZATION OF UNIQUE KEYS)
4. Memorize NEXT in the V2 receiver.
5. Position the device (without mounting it) and verify that by
transmitting the previously memorized code, the receiver activates
the corresponding output.
6. If the system works correctly, mount the device, otherwise reduce
the distance from the receiver until obtaining a good operation.
ATTENTION: Avoid installing the device on metallic
surfaces.
MOUNTING OF THE NEXT-RSE VERSION
1. Define the points selected for the installation, keeping in mind
that it is necessary to mount the base on a linear and flat surface.
2. Remove the frontal panel A making leverage with a flat
screwdriver (Fig 2).
3. Unscrew the 4 M screws and extract device C from the base B
(Fig 1).
4. Mount the base on the wall with the corresponding dowels
through the 4 T holes (Fig.4).
5. Insert the device in the base and affix the 4 screws
6. Insert the frontal panel
MOUNTING OF THE NEXT-RSG VERSION
1. Remove the stopper at the top of the column
2. Position the device over the column, affix it using the screws type
O provided with the device and insert two screw caps P (Fig. 3)
CANCELLATION OF A UNIQUE KEY
In order to singularly cancel memorized UNIQUE Keys proceed as
follows:
1.
Approach the MASTER card (used for the initialization) to the
reader: LED L1 is illuminated
2. When it recognizes the MASTER card it also illuminates LED L2
3. After 5 seconds it emits 1 BEEP of 1 second and 1 flash of LEDs
L1 and L2 ( if the Master card does not correspond to the one
memorized it returns to low power consumption mode)
4. LEDs L1 and L2 are illuminated alternated for 10 seconds
signaling the wait for a UNIQUE key
5. Approach the desired card to cancel to the reader and hold it in
front for at least 10 seconds
6. After 10 seconds LEDs L1 and L2 are illuminated fixed and begin
a series of fast beeps for another 5 seconds
7. After 5 seconds the device cancels the key and it emits a BEEP
and one flash of 1 second
8. As soon as the cancelled key is taken away the device returns to
wait for a UNIQUE key for another 10 seconds
TOTAL CANCELLATION
In order to cancel all memorized UNIQUE KEYS proceed as follows:
1. Approach the MASTER card used for serialization to the reader:
LED L1 is illuminated
2. When it recognizes the MASTER card LED L2 also illuminates and
it emits 1 BEEP of 1 second and one flash of L1 and L2 ( if the
Master card does not correspond to the one memorized it returns
to low power consumption mode)
3. LEDs L1 and L2 are illuminated alternately for 10 seconds
signaling the wait for a UNIQUE key
4. After 10 seconds LEDs L1 and L2 are illuminated for 3 seconds
while waiting for a MASTER key
5. Hold the MASTER card in position for 5 seconds: LEDs L1 and L2
flash rapidly accompanied by a series of fast beeps
6. After 5 seconds LEDs L1 and L2 extinguish and continue the
series of fast beeps: remove the card within 5 seconds
7. The device cancels all the memorized keys and emits 1 beep of 3
seconds with LEDs L1 and L2 illuminated and it returns to low
power consumption mode
MEMORIZATION OF A NEW MASTER CARD
To override a previously memorized MASTER card with another card
with different contract and sequential proceed as follows:
1. Approximate to the reader the MASTER card used for the
initialization: LED L1 is illuminated
2. When it recognizes the MASTER card LED L2 also illuminates and
it emits 1 BEEP of 1 second and one flash of L1 and L2 ( if the
Master card does not correspond to the one memorized it returns
to low power consumption mode)
3. Approximate the new Master card to the reader and hold the
MASTER card in position for 10 seconds: LEDs L1 and L2 flash
rapidly accompanied by a series of fast beeps
4. After 10 seconds LEDs L1 and L2 extinguish and continue to beep
fast: remove the card within 5 seconds
5. The device emits 2 BEEPs of 1 second accompanied by two
flashes of L1 and L2 and then it returns to low power
consumption mode)
The device has learned the contract and the sequential control
number of the new MASTER card that will be transmitted via Radio
with active Rolling Code.
ATTENTION: it is necessary to repeat the procedure
"MEMORIZATION OF NEXT IN THE RECEIVER"
CANCELLATION OF THE MASTER CARD
(emergency procedure)
If the Master card used to initialize the device gets lost, it is possible
to cancel the MASTER card with the following emergency procedure:
1. Remove the batteries
2. Move Dip-switches 5 and 6 to position ON
3. Insert the batteries
4. LED L1 emits flashes for 5 seconds accompanied by fast beeps
5. Within 5 seconds move Dip 5 to position OFF; if no operation is
performed within 5 seconds, the device returns to normal
operation
6. LEDs L1 and L2 start flash in a faster frequency accompanied by
beeps in the same faster frequency
7. Within 5 seconds move Dip 6 to position OFF; if no operation is
performed within 5 seconds, the device returns to normal
operation
8. The LEDs emit 2 flashes of 1 second accompanied by two beeps
in order to indicate the cancellation of the MASTER card.
9. In order to memorize a new Master card repeat the procedure
"INITIALIZATION OF THE PROXIMITY READER"
