7.2 WEP 64-bits, WEP 128-bits
If you want to secure your network with WEP encryption, select "WEP-64Bits" or "WEP-128Bits" from the
drop down list. It is recommended to use 128-bits WEP encryption, since this is the highest WEP security
level.
Enter a hexadecimal (0-9, A-F) key in the "Key #1" field. Although you can store up to 4 different keys at
once, you can only use 1 key at the same time. So it is not necessary to enter key fields 2, 3 and 4.
7.3 WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK
If you want to secure your network with WPA or WPA2 encryption, select "WPA-PSK", "WPA2-PSK" or
"WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK" from the drop down list. WPA2-PSK is the highest security level, however not all
wireless clients are compatible with it. Therefore it is recommended to choose "WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK",
since this will use WPA2-PSK when the wireless client supports it and otherwise automatically switch to
WPA-PSK when the wireless client has no support for WPA2.
Select "TKIP", "AES" or "TKIP/AES" as Encryption. To be compatible with all wireless clients, it is
recommended to choose "TKIP/AES".
Enter a Pre-Shared Key in text format (0-9, A-Z) between 8-63 characters or a 64 character hexadecimal
(0-9, A-F) key.
7.4 Save settings
When you have set all wireless settings, you will need to save the changes. Click on the "SAVE" button on
the bottom of the page to save the settings. You can now use the settings you have just set to connect
your wireless client to the C300APRA2 as described in Chapter 3.2.
