General Description

This is the most adequate exhaust system
when using an economizer or motor-driven
damper, on installations requiring an extrac-
tion of over 25% of total impulse air flow, and
the return is ducted.
Up to approximately 30% opening of outdoor
air intake, it acts as a barometric damper.
When this opening percentage is reached,
the fans become operative and evacuate
directly outdoors.
Comprised of the following components:
- Rain hood.
- Axial fan (x2) (400VAC, 1,4kW, 2.5A).
- Barometric damper.
- Return dividing panel.
- Electric components, included in the Roof-
Top unit electric box.
- Wiring hose, in case of installation far from
the unit.
Installation of units with bot-

(Fig. 1)

Installation of units with side
return duct (Fig. 2)
If the return duct connection to the unit is
on the side, the rain hood assembly, fans
and barometric damper must be installed
at the site. The wiring hose should also be
installed between the fans and the Roof-Top
unit electric box.
These should be installed on the front of the
return duct itself, as close as possible to the
unit. A flat front surface of 2000 x 900 mm.
is required.
Follow the following process:
Installing the damper (Fig. 3)
- Prepare a rectangular opening of 1660 x
450.
- Fit the damper assembly, mark the posi-
tion of the sixteen 3.5 diameter holes and
fasten the assembly with the self-boring
screws and washers supplied.
Installing the rain hood (Fig. 4)
- Remove both fans that are fastened to
the rain hood by means of 4 M-6 screws
each.
- Fit the rain hood over the previously
installed damper, mark the twenty 3.5
diameter holes and fasten the assembly

- Fans, ref. 6: 22 kg. each.
The total weight to be installed on the front
of the duct is 96 kg.
Depending upon the type of construction
and resistance of the duct, consider the
possibility of constructing an additional
support for the unit. The rain hood has a
flat 16 mm. wide surface at the bottom for
this purpose.
