7.3 BRUSH ASSEMBLY / DISASSEMBLY

!
(
) Never use the machine if the brush or the pad
driver with abrasive pad are not perfectly installed.
Assembly:
Place the brush on the floor;
lift the brush plate using the foot pedal (Photo 8 -
E); place the brush under the brush plate of the
making sure that the mounting flange of the brush
is under the metal coupling of the machine.
Lower the brush plate and verify the correct posi-
tioning of the brush.
Turn on the machine with the ignition key (Photo 4
- H) or with the general ON/OFF switch on the con-
trol panel (Photo 5 - A).
Select the rotation of the brush through the switch
(Photo 5 - C; Photo 6 - A; Photo 7 - A); start the ro-
tation of the brush with the control lever (Photo 2
- A): in this way the brush will couple automatically.
To couple the pad driver follow the same proce-
dure.
!
(
) Do not allow the length of the rows of brushes
to become lower than 1 cm.
!
(
) Do not allow the thickness of the abrasive
disks to become less than 1 cm.
Working with excessively worn brushes or exces-
sively thin abrasive disks may damage the machine
and the floor.
Regularly check the wear on these parts before
starting to work.
For disassembly or replacing:
Lift the brush plate with foot pedal (Photo 8 - E).
Make sure the ignition key on the control panel is
set to "0".
Holding the brush in the hands, turn it the direc-
tion of the rotation and lower it to release the cou-
pling flange of the brush plate.
To pull off the pad driver, follow the same proce-
dure.

7.4 SQUEEGEE ASSEMBLY

Lightly tighten the knobs (Photo 16 - A) on the fix-
ing bolts of the squeegee (Photo 18 - B); place the
squeegee on the support by inserting the pins into
the slots located on the support of the squeegee
(Photo 16 - B).
Fix the squeegee to the support tightening the two
knobs (Photo 17).
Firmly insert the suction hose from the machine in
the connection pipe on the squeegee body (Photo
17 - D).

7.5 SQUEEGEE DISASSEMBLY

Disconnect the suction hose from the connection
pipe on the squeegee body (Photo 17 - D).
Loosen the two knobs (Photo 16 - A) and pull the

squeegee to free it from its seat.

7.6 SQUEEGEE ADJUSTMENT

The knob screw placed on the squeegee support
(Photo 17 - B) adjust the squeegee inclination to
the ground. The two red knobs on the sides (Photo
17 - A), connected to the rear wheels of the squee-
gee, are to adjust the pressure of the squeegee on
the ground.
When the squeegee is perfectly adjusted, the rear
squeegee blade, sliding as it moves, bends in all
points forming an angle of 45° with the floor.
During the machine work it is possible to operate
on the knobs (Photo 17 - B) (Photo 17 - A) to ad-
just the angle and pressure of the squeegee so that
the drying is uniform along the entire length of the
squeegee.
Damp patches mean that drying is insufficient; ro-
tate the adjusting wheels to optimize drying.
