Common cause failures (CCFs)

Common cause failures result in loss of the safety function, as in this case both
channels in a two-channel system fail simultaneously.
The following measures ensure that common cause failures can be prevented:
– Comply with operating voltage limits
– Comply with temperature range

The module identifier and the product rating plate are used to identify the product.
The module identifier is visible through the transparent cover on the connection
block.
