If you would like a stronger rate of climb, you can achieve
this by fitting a larger propeller, but at the cost of reduced
motor run time. Using the alternative folding propeller
blades listed below will increase the current draw and
with it the climb rate. The motor run time will be reduced,
as the motor will be working in an area of poorer
efficiency. Nevertheless, both the motor and the controller
will still be working within their specified limits.
If you wish to use propeller blades even larger than
those stated, you do so at your own risk.
Measure the current drain before flying the model for the
first time. Read the motor / speed controller instructions,
and observe the limits regarding maximum permissible
current for the components you are using.
